Welcome to Salem! Our goal is to offer the finest children’s programming in the area, making your child’s time at Salem not only the highlight of their growing years, but the foundation for a lifetime of healthy living!

For 30 years Salem has taught the joys of gymnastics to thousands of children. Over the years, they have added new programs, always with the goal of growing healthy children through movement.

We strive to provide children and their parents a safe place of highly positive energy. Each of our programs is powered by Motion Evolution, making it comprehensive and fun, too!

Salem Gymnastics Sports Center is the place to build character and confidence through individual athletic achievement, camaraderie, and focused learning.

By popular demand, Fit-nastics is moving from the schools into the Main Gym! This combination of gymnastics and fitness has been successful in several WS/FCS in the past few years, is praised by parents and educators alike, and is KID APPROVED! Says one principal, “Every child feels successful while participating in this program.”

Salem’s State Champions!

Congratulations Level 4-6 State Champions! Bailey wins the Gold Medal on bars! Gracie, Lindsay, Dahlia, Dania and Celeste all win silvers, while India, Abbey, Grace, Muphy, Makayla, and Jenna all win bronze medals.

Way to go, girls!

Region 8 Gymnastics inducts Kenny Morphis into Hall of Fame

Region 8 Gymnastics inducted Salem co-owner Kenny Morphis into its Hall of Fame at the 2011 Region 8 Congress held at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside, New Orleans, LA on July 16, 2011.
Morphis was recognized for his outstanding contributions as a coach and volunteer in the sport of gymnastics, and specifically for contributions to Region 8 USA Gymnastics. He was among 4 others inducted into the Hall of Fame Class of 2011.

“Being inducted into the USAG Region 8 Gymnastics Hall of Fame is an honor I humbly accept on behalf of the entire family that is Salem. The camaraderie of our athletes, booster club, and coaching staff makes Salem an incredible place to work. Just as I learned from outstanding coaches, judges, and my right hand man, Tim Lucas, I look forward to mentoring the next generation of Salem to be bigger and better. I am grateful to have the Salem name forever in the Region 8 Hall of Fame.”

Salem Gymnastics Sports Center has been hand selected and exclusively licensed to offer the Motion Evolution program in our community!

Motion Evolution is based on the premise that children are made to move, and can learn to move well. Motion Evolution integrates the aspects of physical literacy, nutrition education, brain-body science, personal best, and play into a complete wellness program. As our students participate in Salem programs with the MoEv overlay, a greater fitness level is achieved and their confidence soars.

Expect the best from Salem and MoEv! Look for Motion Evolution games and concepts to be integrated into ALL of Salem’s fine programs – and learn more here!
