Salem Dance
Salem Dance teaches beginner thru advanced boys and girls classic dance in ballet, tap, and jazz. All classes are taught by qualified instructors in a positive yet challenging atmosphere.
SALEM DANCE RECITAL is held each spring. Recital fees of $40.00/student are due at registration and are non-refundable (school year session only). Our 2013 Recital will have dress rehearsal May 31st, and the show on June 1st in Brendle Recital Hall, Wake Forest University.

Dance-nastics (ages 3-7) NOW OFFERED FOR UP TO AGE 7! Enjoy the ultimate combination class! Each lesson features 20 minutes of gymnastics instruction, 20 minutes of ballet, and 20 minutes of tap. Students enjoy a performance on the “Big Stage” recital as well as “Gold Medal Day” at Salem. Classes meet once a week for 60 minutes. Tuition listed is per month, for one class per week. 2nd child per family receives a 10% discount. |
SCHOOL YEAR CLASSES – end June 15 with the Gold Medal Day Show.
SUMMER CLASSES – June 17-August 24. No classes July 4-7.

Dancers are to come to each class dressed in proper attire:
Dance-nastics: Wear footless tights for class; footed tights for recital. Bring black tap and pink leather ballet shoes to class in a bag.
Girls: pink leather or canvas ballet shoes (no slippers), leotard and tights.
Boys: black leather or canvas ballet shoes (no slippers), form fitting shirt and stretch pants
Black tap shoes for all tap classes. Long hair must be tied neatly up off the shoulders.
