Salem Dance teaches beginner thru advanced boys and girls classic dance in ballet, tap, and jazz. All classes are taught by qualified instructors in a positive yet challenging atmosphere.

SALEM DANCE RECITAL is held each spring. Recital fees of $40.00/student are due at registration and are non-refundable.

New students are welcomed every week!
Need to miss a class? No problem, we offer make-ups for every level dancer.

Dancers are to come to each class dressed in proper attire:
Dance-nastics: Wear footless tights for class; footed tights for recital. Bring black tap and pink leather ballet shoes to class in a bag.
Girls: pink leather or canvas ballet shoes (no slippers), leotard and tights.
Boys: black leather or canvas ballet shoes (no slippers), form fitting shirt and stretch pants
Black tap shoes for all tap classes. Long hair must be tied neatly up off the shoulders.

Dance-nastics (ages 3-7) NOW OFFERED FOR UP TO AGE 7! Enjoy the ultimate combination class! Each lesson features 20 minutes of gymnastics instruction, 20 minutes of ballet, and 20 minutes of tap. Students enjoy a performance on the “Big Stage” as well as “Gold Medal Day” at Salem in the spring. Classes meet once a week for 60 minutes. Tuition listed is per month, for one class per week. 2nd child per family receives a 10% discount.

Combination Classes (ages 5+) Choose from a variety of combination classes and learn ballet, jazz, +/or tap. Enjoy our recital and the joys of dance!   Intermediate/Advanced Technique For the more serious dancer, these classes will improve your skill level and enable you to perform the most difficult moves with grace and ease. Strongly recommended for all Dance Team members. Tuition listed is for one class per week, payable monthly. 2nd class per family receives a 10% discount

Hip Hop Update

Salem Hip Hop classes will be taking a break.  Instructor Jon Barnes has been cast with the Veggie Tales, and will be performing with them for the next two months.  We will miss having him here, but are excited for his opportunity.
